HUD Accessibility Code Compliant Units Aqua Glass HUD bathing xtures are specially manufactured to meet the HUD Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. Aqua Glass HUD bathing xtures are reinforced with structural sheet wood that allows for future installation of grab bars or seats within the bathing xture. The special wood backing provides additional structural strength to support grab bars and a seat that would make the bathing xture ADA compliant if necessary. Finished surface shall be of a sanitary-grade polyester Gelcoat exhibiting a minimal thickness of 15 dry mills, and a nished cured Barcol hardness of 80-90 as tested with ASTM D-2583. Unit construction shall be of molded reinforced berg la ss with 15% minimum berg la ss content plus a cellular inner core, with a reinforced polyester outer protective coating for superior overall rigidity. The base shall be attached to the sump of this unit in such a manner to form an integral part with an inner and outer coating of reinforced polyester resin. Model shall allow for above oor installation of waste, overow and drainage. The unit shall have dimensions of 60 (W) x32 1/8 (D) x79 1/4 (H) O.D.
