  • Designed by Omega Cabinetry's own Director of Design and Training, Sandra Luttchens developed a space that is comfortable for the entire family and also functional for dual cooks. Double islands allow for a central preparation surface, a second sink and--most importantly--seating that faces the kitchen where the children can do homework or spend time with family. The functionality of separate yet connected kitchen sections also allows the family to host large dinner parties without a worry about having enough room to cook or leaving guests unattended.

  • In Omega's tradition of finishes with coordinated stains and distressing effects, their new Baroque finish creates a worn identity reminiscent of a rustic living space. The Baroque finish features a light stain and incorporates intricate furniture distressing techniques to create this strong visual impression. This finish is available on select raised-panel door styles in the Omega Custom line. It is offered in the following two wood species: pecan and alder. Pecan is a great wood for individuals desiring a distinct wood grain in their cabinetry. Conversely, alder's grain is a more subtle option.

  • New for 2007 from Omega Cabinetry is a metallic glaze, Champagne, for both Dynasty and Omega Custom lines and two brushed glazes, Amaretto and Cognac, for the Dynasty line. Champagne is Omega's first glaze to offer a metallic highlight. This glaze brings back the era of opulence and splendor. Champagne will be offered on select opaque and light-toned stains on maple and cherry woods. Amaretto and Cognac are two brown-toned, brushed glazes that give the impression of the craftsman's touch. Both glazes are available on all white and cream opaque paints.

  • Award announced in January. Omega Cabinetry was one of the first four cabinetry manufacturers to earn certification in the Environmental Stewardship Program. The Kitchen Cabinetry Manufacturers Association (KCMA) established this nationwide program in 2006 and announced the first companies to achieve compliance in January 2007. Omega's enhanced product line in 2007. The Company continues to ride the crest of cabinetry trends in 2007 with five door introductions, a new glaze and a new finish. Dynasty and Dynasty II now include 58 door styles in ten wood species - maple, red oak, cherry, red birch, pecan, alder, quartersawn white oak, rustic oak, rustic pecan and rustic alder.
