  • Large-format tiles get even bigger with Inalco's 80 XXL series of wall and floor tiles. The collection's basic tile measures nearly 3 feet square, and the largest is almost 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall. Inalco rectifies the tiles with straight edges for contemporary, thin-grout-line installation. Five textures are offered, including a brocade pattern and a funky three-dimensional cube texture for wall applications (seen here). The straightforward color palette includes shades of white, black, gray, and brown.

  • Brazilian cherry is just one species available in the maker's recycled hardwood flooring product line. Free of VOCs, yet offering a finish with high abrasion resistance, the boards are milled at low speeds to reduce defects and minimize tolerances. Wider and longer planks offer a more seamless look and reduced installation time. The boards measure 5 inches wide and 3/4 inches thick and range in length from 1 to 7 feet, averaging 31/2 feet. The Brazilian cherry wood features occasional swirls and burls in the deep brown heartwood, with a minimal amount of sapwood.

  • Elastilon self-adhesive underlayment allows builders to install a floating hardwood floor on most substrates including above- and below-grade concrete. Eliminating the need for nails or glue, the product has an adhesive-topped surface that peels back so flooring can be slipped into position.
