- Lagotek and Leviton Manufacturing today announced the integration of Leviton's Vizia-RF series of lighting and home control products with Lagotek's Home Intelligence Platform (HIP), a wireless whole home automation system. The combination of products provides a new level of quality and integration for all home electrical systems including lighting, zoned climate control, distributed audio, monitoring and surveillance, home entertainment, irrigation, shade and blind controls and security system integration. Vizia-RF includes advanced switches, dimmers, and plug-in modules controlled through Z-Wave, an industry standard wireless protocol.

Leviton Expands Award-Winning Acenti Collection with Exclusive Sixplex Receptacle and New Switches

- Leviton Manufacturing Company has expanded its line of Acenti wiring devices and lighting controls with the addition of an industry-exclusive Sixplex Surge Protective Receptacle and five electromechanical switches. The product additions bring the total number of devices in the Acenti Collection to more than 75 premium-grade products. Introduced in January 2005, the highly acclaimed, award- winning Acenti Collection offers residential and commercial wiring devices, lighting controls, voice and data devices and wallplates that seamlessly blend with the sophisticated décor of modern, upscale homes and commercial interiors. Acenti is the first new form factor for wiring devices since Leviton introduced its Decora line of designer-styled devices and controls.

Intermatic Debuts InTouch Model Home Program at International Builders' Show

- Intermatic, Inc. is launching Model and Parade Home Kits featuring its InTouch wireless controls product line up at the International Builders' Show (IBS). "Intermatic developed Model and Parade Home Kits for builders and developers to help them provide added value and differentiation for their customers," said Jeff Bovee, commercial marketing manager for Intermatic, Inc. "Additionally, because these products all use wireless control, they can be installed using standard wiring, allowing builders to upgrade homes already in their inventory."

Square D Residential Lighting Control Line

- Schneider Electric. The Square D residential lighting control line now includes Clipsal input devices, including Saturn and Neo wall-mounted keypads. The keypads feature Dynamic Labeling Technology and can control up to eight lighting functions. Each button displays editable text or graphics to indicate the room or lighting scene it controls.
