(NYSE: CBE) announces that its Halo LED recessed downlight is the first in the industry to meet stringent Energy Star requirements for solid state lighting (SSL) luminaires. The Halo LED Downlight's performance earns an Energy Star qualification by meeting the Energy Star Program Requirements for Solid State Lighting Luminaires: Eligibility Criteria - Version 1.0 for Category A - Recessed Downlights. Energy Star is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping consumers and organizations save money and protect the environment through energy-efficient products and practices.
