  • The Steamist InstaMist features a stainless steel strip heater that allows the generator to preheat the water. The heater, which is UL recognized and CSA certified, is secured to the outside of the water tank below the normal water level. On average, InstaMist preheats the water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Based on this average preheated temperature, the time required to produce steam ranges from 30 to 60 seconds, depending on the generator model. Steamist steam baths create a calming, stress-relieving environment, while also providing numerous health benefits.

The lower level family room shown in this photo provided by lifestylehomedesign.com offers a wall of built-in beauty. Framed in stone around the fireplace and along the far wall, the cherry bookcases and display niches are attractive even with the large-screen TV turned off.

  • The News Tribune (6/4/2007)
  • Jun. 4--Six months ago, I thought I'd made all the changes my kitchen needed. Granted, the fronts to the drawers came off if you pulled on the handles, and the gold flecks had worn off the Formica counter top, and we had to wash the ceiling every month because we didn't have a vent. I'd found a tall, deep, cheap shelf perfect for the free-range pots and pans roaming the stove top and kitchen cart.
