New InstaMist Heats Things Up in a Hurry- ebuild (6/11/2007)
- The Steamist InstaMist features a stainless steel strip heater that allows the generator to preheat the water. The heater, which is UL recognized and CSA certified, is secured to the outside of the water tank below the normal water level. On average, InstaMist preheats the water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Based on this average preheated temperature, the time required to produce steam ranges from 30 to 60 seconds, depending on the generator model.
