Georgia-Pacific announces a new solution for residential builders interested in protecting sub-floors before the roof and exterior walls go up during the initial stages of the construction process. Plytanium DryPly Plywood, with a water-repellent coating, absorbs up to 40 percent less water than plywood without the protective coating for up to four weeks -- the average time sub-floors are typically exposed during the construction process.
