- Building on its recent successful Hispanic marketing efforts, Chevy announced today the new 2007 Chevy Silverado Hispanic advertising campaign. The Campaign, "Una Marca que Dura" or "A Brand/Mark that Lasts," focuses on the duality of the word "Marca" which in Spanish means "Mark," as in "the mark one leaves behind; the mark that distinguishes a person." The word also means "Brand" in Spanish.

Dodge Redefines Commercial Standard with Introduction of All-new 2007 Ram 3500 Chassis Cab

- DaimlerChrysler expands to the commercial chassis cab segment with the introduction of the all-new 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Chassis Cab. Supported by a supplementary $48 million capital investment, the all-new 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Chassis Cab will be built at Chrysler Group's Saltillo Assembly Plant in Coahuila, Mexico. The plant is being expanded by 120,000 square feet for commercial vehicle production and will accommodate new frame configurations.

Ford's Breakthrough Clean Diesel Technology Recieves Top Engineering Innovation Award

- A group of Ford scientists who developed a breakthrough technology that will usher into the automotive world a new era of clean diesel engines are among the recipients of the coveted Henry Ford Technology Award for 2006. Ford Clean Diesel Technology will debut on the 2008 Super Duty F-Series, making it the cleanest, quietest diesel ever offered by Ford in a pickup. In addition to the clean diesel technology, additional innovations selected for Henry Ford Technology Awards this year include: Collision warning and mitigation by braking technology used on the new Volvo S80 and Ford S-max sold in Europe.
