  • The Tundra comes in three full-size models: the four-door CrewMax (shown) and Double Cab, and the two-door Regular Cab, and with three engine options. The CrewMax and the Double Cab have full-size, front-hinged rear doors. The trucks have a max towing capacity of 10,800 pounds and a payload rating of 2,060 pounds.   • With a choice of wheelbases, the 2008 N-Series low cab forward truck can accommodate body lengths of 10 to 20 feet and payloads from 6,800 to 9,400 pounds. The new model's Vortec 6-liter V-8 engine has 325 horsepower and a 4-speed automatic transmission with lockup torque converter and overdrive. For user comfort, the new Hexacube cab offers increased head-, shoulder-, and legroom, and multiple storage organizers.   • The Deluxe Commercial Unit (DCU) truck cap can be customized to meet the demands of work truck service in a variety of industries. Options include: roof racks, various toolbox configurations, a selection of window and door sizes, several rear door options, and a polyester fabric liner designed to prevent condensation from collecting on the cap interior.   • Take advantage of fuel savings afforded by the choice of two available engines on the 2008 Ram 1500. The new 4.7-liter V-8 produces 310 hp and 330 pound-feet of torque while using less fuel and providing smoother operation compared with the engine it replaces. Similarly, the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 offers 345 hp and 375 pound-feet of torque and is equipped with Chrysler Group's Multi-displacement System, which provides up to 20 percent fuel savings, the maker says.
