Temple-Inland Announces Improved, Fire-rated Drywall- ebuild (10/25/2006)
- Temple-Inland has introduced a new and improved Type TG-C formula for its fire-rated gypsum wallboard. this new formula meets or exceeds American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) C1396 and Federal Specification SS-L-30d, Type III Grade X standards. This is the same standard applied to previous Temple-Inland Type-C wallboard products, but the passing of additional UL testing means it's now approved for use in almost 200 additional fire-resistive assemblies and systems.
