Made of a resin material, the Lexan clear storm panel can completely cover a window or door and has four times the impact resistance of plywood while being 30 percent to 50 percent lighter than metal panels, the maker claims. MRA presented Integrity the Best In Class Award (BICA) as the Top Overall Brand of vinyl and composite windows. Integrity had previously been honored with a BICA award for composite windows. Integrity windows and doors are made with Ultrex, a pultruded fiberglass material with a durable coating.

Stormguard Hurricane Panels Receive Florida Building Code HVHZ Approval

- Polygal Inc. is pleased to announce that on the 19th of July 2007 all three of our Stormguard Hurricane Panels tested under Test Standards FBC-2004 - TAS 201, 202, 203, 2003 ICC, IRC, IBC, ASTM E 1886-02, E 1996-02 and ASTM E 330-02 were approved for use in HVHZ (high velocity hurricane zone) by the state of Florida. All three Polygal panels are now approved for use in Dade and Broward counties, which are the current Florida high velocity hurricane zones, when installed in accordance with Polygal's installation instructions.
