Grohe Expands Atrio Bathroom Collection with New Seven-Degree SpoutNew Angle Perfects Water Delivery

May, 2009 -- Finally, a faucet with the perfect pitch. Grohe expands its popular Atrio line with a new floor-standing tub filler and high-profile lavatory faucet both featuring Grohe's new 7° spout design. Grohe's Atrio collection brings to the category a revolutionary design innovation – a seven-degree spout inclination – that produces optimum water delivery.

"Grohe is proud to introduce this new design concept to the world," said Paul Flowers, senior vice president of design for Grohe. "The seven-degree angle creates the optimum position for the delivery of water. The slight tilt upward also is more ergonomic for the user and creates a more visually-pleasing flow."

Grohe's new seven-degree angle spout debuts on the brand's sleek Atrio faucets, including the one-hole lavatory centerset, one-hole deck-mount vessel and two-hole wall-mount vessel. Rising from simple cylinders in varying depths and diameters, Grohe's Atrio collection achieves its clean aesthetic through repetitive geometry. The reduced dimensions and exacting proportions rely on the basic geometry of cylinders and right angles. Featuring minimalist lever handles, the deck-mount vessel faucet stands 19 inches tall while the two-hole wall-mount faucet offers an almost 8 inch spout.

The Atrio 7° collection is available in Grohe StarLight® Chrome and Infinity Brushed Nickel finishes. Exclusive Technologies Even after years of service, Atrio 7° offerings will look, sound and feel brand new – thanks to these Grohe-exclusive technologies:
