May, 2009 – Delta® proudly unveiled a single-handle lavatory channel spout option to its popular fleur-de-lis Victorian® Collection. Inspired by visions of waterfalls and old-fashioned water pumps, the Victorian® Channel Spout features the beauty and tranquility of a soothing flow.

Demonstrating the company's ongoing commitment to conserving natural resources, the Victorian lavatory faucets are labeled by the EPA as water-efficient with an official WaterSense designation. The lavatory faucets flow at 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) at 60 psi, saving approximately 30% of water over its 2.2 gpm counterparts.

With the enclosed and channel spout options, the unique design and old-world charm of the complete Victorian line now has expanded to accommodate the configuration needs of a traditional home. Inspired by the stylized lily fleur-de-lis, the collection design makes a beautiful statement with classic, timeless architecture. The quaint charm of the optional riser accommodates vessel sinks and adds a fresh, updated look in the bath.

Catching Up in the Kitchen
The new Victorian pull-down kitchen faucet features a high-arc spout with traditional influences and a matching soap dispenser.

The spray head is designed with an ergonomic, two function toggle control and the Delta innovative magnetic docking system which eliminates dangling spray wands that can mar the visual appearance of a kitchen. The faucet's magnetic docking system, called MagnaTite™ intuitively connects the spray head with the spout when not in use for a consistently clean look. The Victorian pull-down's unique magnetic closure was designed to simplify homeowners' day-to-day lives – keeping life neat and orderly in the midst of a hectic world.

The faucet also features Delta Faucet Company's exclusive patented DIAMOND™ Seal Technology, a breakthrough innovation in water delivery. Comprised of a next generation DIAMOND™ valve and InnoFlex™ waterways, the one-piece waterway system ensures that once inside the faucet, water is not in contact with potential metal contaminants, such as brass, copper or lead. DIAMOND Seal Technology satisfies California statute AB 1953, mandating that by January 1, 2010, the weighted average lead content in pipes, fittings and fixtures used to convey drinking water cannot exceed 0.25% lead on wetted surfaces.

At the heart of Victorian's lead-free waterway system is the DIAMOND valve, an integrated ceramic valve cartridge featuring one ceramic disc and one diamond-embedded ceramic disc. As the two discs move against each other the diamond-embedded disc constantly polishes the uncoated ceramic disc, preventing buildup of calcium and mineral deposits. The valve requires no lubrication, eliminates wear on seals, and ensures "like new" operation for life. Performance tested, the DIAMOND™ valve will last up to 10 times longer than the industry standard. (Industry standard is based on ASME 112.18.1 = 500,000 cycles.)
