May, 2009 — Delta® recently unveiled severalexcitingadditions to its popular Leland® Collection. The stylish assortment of teapot styled faucets now includes more options for the shower, as well as a new J Spout lavatory and matching three- and four-hole Roman tubs.

The Bath…
Inspired by the beautiful lines of the Taj Mahal, the elegant arc of the new J Spout lavatory and Roman tub create a clean style with universal appeal. With its water-efficient 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) aerator, the popular style of the Leland J Spout lavatory provides a smart water delivery system that maximizes water savings without compromising style or performance.

The Leland lavatory faucets are labeled by the EPA as water-efficient with an official WaterSense designation. The lavatory faucets flow at 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) at 60 psi, saving approximately 30% of water over its 2.2 gpm counterparts.

The single-handle lavatory can be installed in a single or three-hole application. A riser model allows for installation with popular vessel bowls and vanities, and adds a distinctive touch to the bath. The mini-widespread features the Delta patented Quick-Snap® Technology for ease of installation. The single-handle and mini-widespread lavatories are capable of thick-deck installation, allowing for an infinite number of choices in countertop materials, including fashionable granite.

Available in February and providing even more choices for homeowners is the introduction of the Leland 17 Series Dual Function and 17T SeriesThermostatic Tub/Showers. Featuring the exclusive MultiChoice® Universal valve from Delta, the tub/shower systems are easy to install and enable trade professionals to make functional and stylish trim changes without ever changing the valve in the wall. The tub/shower systems also feature a drenching raincan showerhead.

The new 17 and 17T Series of tub and shower options include valve only; shower only; and tub/ shower configurations.

These additions round out the Leland Bath Collection, which currently includes centerset, single-handle, mini-widespread, widespread, Roman tub, and 14 Series single-function tub/shower options.

Finishing Touches
The entire Leland Bath Collection features the very popular Venetian Bronze® finish.

The Kitchen…
With pull-down/pull-out faucets in high demand today, the Leland pull-down is the perfect way to add functionality to the kitchen. The two-function wand switches from stream to spray. The faucet's magnetic docking system, called MagnaTite™ intuitively connects the spray head with the spout when not in use for a consistently clean look.

The faucet also features Delta Faucet Company's exclusive patented DIAMOND™ Seal Technology, a breakthrough innovation in water delivery. Comprised of a next generation DIAMOND™ valve and InnoFlex™ waterways, the one-piece waterway system ensures that once inside the faucet, water is not in contact with potential metal contaminants, such as brass, copper or lead. DIAMOND Seal Technology satisfies California statute AB 1953, mandating that by January 1, 2010, the weighted average lead content in pipes, fittings and fixtures used to convey drinking water cannot exceed 0.25% lead on wetted surfaces.

At the heart of the Leland pull-down's lead-free waterway system is the DIAMOND valve, an integrated ceramic valve cartridge featuring one ceramic disc and one diamond-embedded ceramic disc. As the two discs move against each other the diamond-embedded disc constantly polishes the uncoated ceramic disc, preventing buildup of calcium and mineral deposits. The valve requires no lubrication, eliminates wear on seals, and ensures "like new" operation for life.

The offering includes models with and without soap dispenser. With Leland kitchen models, homeowners can enjoy Leland's casual style throughout the home.
