Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens Introduces the New Jupiter DoorInspired by Classic Shaker, Jupiter Offers Decorative Details that are "Out of this World"
March, 2009 – Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens announces the introduction of an exciting new wood door design that "shakes up" the look of a traditional Shaker door. Called Jupiter, the newest addition goes above and beyond in style expectation. Crafted with one and a half inch, horizontal slats that are framed and inlaid within the door, the Jupiter cabinet door is "simply heavenly," says Patrick Byrne, Executive Vice President of Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens. "Jupiter offers designers and home owners yet another option to individualize the look of their outdoor kitchen," he adds.
The shaker style has always relied on simple lines without decoration or adornment, favoring a utilitarian approach. "The Jupiter door is unique in that it 'dresses-up' the traditional shaker style, adding details that make it more eye-catching," says Byrne.

Atlantis
Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens features a Perma-Panel base, a specially engineered polymer material making the cabinets virtually indestructible from harsh weather elements like hot sun, humidity, rain, snow or sleet. Perma-Panel is also easy to care for and cleans up quick with a garden hose and scrub brush.
The Jupiter door is made from enduring teak or cypress wood, and is attached to the Perma-Panel cabinet shell. Teak and cypress woods are so durable and water resistant that most boats and docks are made from this long-lasting material. The woods contain natural oils making them rot resistant and insect repellant, which is a necessary ingredient for outdoor resilience. The wood grain texture blends well with any dÉcor, giving the outdoor kitchen an appealing refreshing look. "The wood cabinets give the outdoor living area a warm, homey feel," says Byrne. "It's a nice alternative to stainless steel."
Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens offers nine different door styles (six Perma-Panel and three teak or cypress wood designs – including the new Jupiter door). Teak and cypress wood doors exhibit a beautiful natural finish, and Atlantis Perma-Panel doors are available in seven attractive color hues.
The Atlantis Outdoor Cabinetry Company has been helping customers create a backyard oasis with outdoor kitchens for years. "Our customers love living and entertaining in the outdoors and we take great pride in helping them achieve their desired outdoor kitchen," adds Byrne.
