Grohe Launches New Ladylux3 Collection with Three Redesigned Pull-Out Faucets

May 2009 — A GROHE classic that has evolved with the times, the Ladylux faucet (the original kitchen pull-out faucet) is the centerpiece of some of America's finest kitchens. This year, GROHE's best-selling classic gets a new, updated look that combines the innovative design of today's modern kitchens with the functionality and durability of a professional tool. The newest addition to the Ladylux family features a dynamic and flowing silhouette with a more streamlined body than its predecessors. The new Ladylux3 cone-like body rises organically from the counter and merges with an elegantly-arched spout and distinct lever — a playful interpretation of a water droplet.

"Whether you're an amateur cook or a professional chef, want to clean veggies or fill large pots, the redesigned Ladylux is up to the task," said Paul Flowers, senior vice president of design for GROHE. "The design lives up to the rich Ladylux heritage but is forward-looking and precision-engineered to provide perfect water delivery well into the future."

Available in Ladylux3 pull-out, and Ladylux3 Pro and Ladylux3 Café pull-down versions, the redesigned Ladylux3 line of kitchen faucets is a multifunctional beauty which rightfully occupies its place at the center of attention. Its pull-out and pull-down sprayheads clearly extend the faucet's reach. For even greater flexibility, a press of a button is all it takes to switch from aerated to rinsing spray.

The new Ladylux3 pull-out line will be available in GROHE StarLight® Chrome and Infinity Finish SuperSteel, and GROHE's solid stainless RealSteel.

    Exclusive Technologies
Even after years of service, Ladylux3 offerings will look, sound and feel brand new — thanks to these GROHE-exclusive technologies:

    • SilkMove® — Creating a velvet-soft ease of movement and an extra-wide operating angle, all GROHE cartridges are fitted with ceramic alloy discs that are covered in a special Teflon® lubricant to ensure a lifetime of maintenance-free comfort and reliability — as well as precise and seamless temperature adjustment. GROHE SilkMove cartridges are life-tested to deliver over 200,000 operating cycles (the equivalent of more than 10 years in a four-person household) and still function at factory specs.
    • StarLight® — For radiant long-life shine, StarLight offers a dazzling surface finish created through a special chrome-plating and galvanization technique. GROHE products that feature this technology boast an immaculate surface that will not crack, flake or chip — providing superior durability.
    • WhisPer® — The computer-engineered geometry within the ceramic discs of GROHE product cartridges combined with heavy cast-brass construction creates a maximum flow level at a minimum noise level. The result is a soothing sound produced by the gentle and continuous stream of water — without any irritating noise or water hammering.

GROHE products are sold through designer showrooms nationwide and select online retailers. Specific showroom locations and retailer Web sites are available on the GROHE Web site. For more information, visit www.groheamerica.com.
