A Classic Revisited: Rutledge from Armstrong Cabinets
May, 2009--Classic Rutledge™ cabinetry from Armstrong, with antique styling reflected in maple full overlay Shaker doors and drawers, is refreshed by new finish options, including Vanilla Cream, Espresso and Bordeaux. Other finishes include Mocha, Toffee, Natural and Café.

Armstrong's Rutledge Collection with New Finishes
The full overlay doors have little or no visible frame and prominently feature the design. Either traditional or contemporary décor schemes can be achieved by its simple and practical appearance. Decorative hardware is usually necessary to open cabinets.
The Rutledge center panel is constructed of a furniture quality maple veneer to produce a uniform look in color and graining patterns. It also features a convex interior door frame edge that reflects natural light onto the milled door front frame, enhancing its overall look. The ¾" solid maple door frames are assembled with tenon and mortise joints, just like those found in fine hardwood furniture.
Clean and simple, flat panel cabinetry is the ever-popular contemporary choice. Straight lines create a sleek appearance for any room where cabinetry is showcased. A contemporary or transitional styling can be created with limitless décor options, including decorative glass and hardware. Specialty cabinets and decorative trim also are available to add a finishing touch to any kitchen.
"Cabinets are such an integral part of the home, adding both character and visual excitement," says Tosha Diiorio, marketing manager, Armstrong Cabinets. Citing a perfect blend of form and function, Diiorio points out the custom features in the semi-custom cabinetry line."The cabinets set the tone in any home, especially in the kitchen. Armstrong brings a top-tier product to any home, regardless of style or budget."
