Lumin plywood is lightweight, flat and strong for high performance, and available in two distinct lay-up configurations - all eucalyptus and a pine/eucalyptus Combi-panel - to meet specific project needs and aesthetics. The all-eucalyptus plywood panels will be available in seven grades, including four proprietary grades. The Combi-panel, which pairs the strength of eucalyptus core veneers with the traditional visual appeal of a pine face layer, is available in three standard grades.

The variety of grades and configurations make Lumin plywood ideal for numerous construction and industrial applications, including underlayment, sheathing, and packaging. Sanded Lumin plywood panels are well suited for finishing applications such as underlayment in cabinetry, furniture, millwork and toys.

Lumin plywood is PS 1-07 and CE2+ certified for construction use in the United States and Europe. Products with those stamps are also exempt from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) emissions standards.

Lumin plywood continues Weyerhaeuser's vision to help sustain forest resources for future generations. The company manufactures Lumin products from trees grown on plantations managed in compliance with internationally recognized sustainable forestry standards. The Weyerhaeuser mill that manufactures Lumin plywood has received Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody and controlled wood certification.

Weyerhaeuser will be showcasing Lumin products at the 2010 International Woodworking Fair (IWF), August 25 - 28 in Atlanta.
