Flatwire is turning out to be one of my favorite minor remodeling products. It is great for those projects where you want to cause minimum disruption or create minimum waste. The wire is literally so flat that it sticks to a wall like tape. Using drywall mud, the wire can be finished over and painted and it completely disappears in the wall.

In particular, it’s great for remodeling projects in condos where common walls may not be allowed to be opened up for re-wiring for home theaters and lighting. It’s a neat way to reduce the waste of tearing open walls and the additional time it takes to complete the remodeling required.”
