Panels of Luminescence

Designer Ryan Grey Smith, Grey Design Studio, introduces the Elements lighting collection. Fixtures are made with clear polycarbonate that is thermally formed into fluid shapes and, when hardened, layered into a structure containing various panels or “elements.” By hand-texturing the interior of the panels, each fixture radiates light slightly differently, and —depending on the size — the effect varies from a piece of paper blowing up in the wind to a cascading luminescence (shown). W.A.C. Lighting's Crystal Beauty Spots are accent lights that use crystal elements and low-voltage xenon lamps to create sparkle and eye-catching patterns on ceilings.
