    INDIANAPOLIS (September 16, 2005), Home-heating costs are at the forefront of consumers' minds in communities across the U.S. To address this concern, Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems is proud to introduce a line of 90-percent efficient variable-speed furnaces that can lower utility costs up to 30 percent--or up to 700 dollars per year--when compared to less-efficient systems previously seen in the industry. The variable-speed motor furnace, which combines gas and electric mechanics, has an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency rating (AFUE) of up to 96.6 percent, making it Bryant's most advanced and energy efficient line of gas furnace products.

    Meeting the Energy Star® guidelines for energy efficiency, the enhanced condensing gas furnaces come fully equipped with Bryant's exclusive Perfect Light™ hot surface igniter which saves fuel that would be wasted by a continuous pilot light. Each 90-percent efficient furnace also features Perfect Heat™, which enables the unit to switch from low- and high-heat modes depending on outdoor temperatures. And Fan On Plus™, Bryant's adjustable constant fan function, allows homeowners to select three continuous fan speeds.With a quieter operation than previous models, the advanced 90-percent efficient furnaces are available with sound reduction of up to 3 decibels, which means quieter operation for homeowners. The three models, 355AV Plus 90i, 352AAV Plus 90t and 350AAV Plus 90, are available through local Bryant dealers.
