With more than 20 powerful engineering elements available in both the washer and dryer, families can be assured that this line of front load washers and dryers delivers on the rich brand heritage of Maytag. The Maytag Epic line is now available at all The Home Depot® stores nationwide and will be sold at additional appliance centers and home improvement stores across the U.S. after Sept. 29.

    The powerful engineering and intuitive technology in the pair are readily apparent. The Maytag Epic line features a Smooth Balance™ Suspension System that works like shock absorbers to help reduce noise and vibrations. The washer's tilted stainless steel wash basket is constructed of super tough steel yet remains smooth to protect fabrics. The dryer's DuraCushion™ Dryer Drum offers a cushion finish that lasts for years, resists scratches and stains but allows clothes to gently glide off its surface without snagging.     The Maytag Epic Front Load washer is available in two ENERGY STAR®- qualified models providing 3.8 cubic feet of wash space. Each load uses 65 percent less water and 46 percent less energy than conventional top load washers.** Intuitive features, like the IntelliFill™ Automatic Water Level Sensor and IntelliTemp™ Automatic Temperature Control, monitor incoming water temperature and minimize the amount of water used, aiding in energy conservation. The Sensi-Care™ Wash System adjusts basket rotation speeds for cleaning heavy or delicate loads. Washers range in price from $1099 to $1399 for MFW9600S models and MFW9700S models, respectively.

    The Maytag Epic Front Load dryer delivers 7.0 cubic feet of drying space. The GentleBreeze™ Drying System incorporates diagonal airflow to dry clothes in the same amount of time it takes to wash them. IntelliDry® sensor technology helps protect clothing by measuring moisture levels and temperatures as a load tumbles, minimizing the risk of over-drying and shrinking. A reversible swing door provides versatility for any laundry set- up. Maytag Epic dryers are available in gas and electric models, and range from $899 to $999 for the MED9600S and MED9700S electric models, and $959 to $1059 for the MGD9600S and MGD9700S gas models, respectively.
