New 16-inch Rainshower Jumbo and Two Hand-held Showers

    BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. - A wonderful way to end (or begin) a day, GROHE's popular Rainshower line now comes in five different offerings including the impressive new 16-inch, Rainshower Jumbo full-body showerhead and two new hand-held showers - providing consumers an even wider variety of ways to truly "enjoy water." GROHE DreamSpray®, at the heart of each GROHE Rainshower, features an advanced "shower engine," as evidenced by hundreds of multi-function internal parts, that efficiently distributes an even flow of water to every single nozzle. GROHE DreamSpray® engineering also ensures that the all-brass GROHE Rainshower shower heads deliver outstanding performance even at lower water pressures.

    Rainshower Showerheads
    The new extra-wide, 16-inch diameter Rainshower Jumbo features a total of 252 water nozzles arranged to provide full-body coverage with no "dry" zones. Like its contemporary eight-inch predecessor, the new GROHE Rainshower Jumbo features a European minimalist design. Consumers also can choose the traditional yet clean look of the GROHE eight-inch Retro Rainshower to add a touch of nostalgia to shower designs. All three deliver wide, gently relaxing showers designed to envelop the body in falling water. To accommodate the larger diameter Rainshowers, GROHE offers an arched shower arm for wall-mount installations, and two 12-inch shower arms for ceiling or wall installations. The GROHE 16-inch and eight-inch contemporary Rainshower offerings, along with their respective shower arms, are available in a variety of finishes to match other GROHE faucets and shower products.

    Rainshower Hand-Helds
    The two new Rainshower hand-held showers include a five-inch spray face version and six-inch offering. Each model features an ergonomically designed grip for maximum spray control. A longer-than-standard handle also prevents users' hands and arms from cramping, resulting in an even more relaxed and comfortable shower experience. Like the Rainshower showerheads, each hand-held shower is available in a variety of finish choices. Unlike other "rain" showerhead and hand showers, the GROHE Rainshower line features the company's patented SpeedClean® anti-lime system. Limescale build-up on the face of a showerhead is the primary impediment to shower performance. GROHE's SpeedClean® system solves this common problem with a specially formulated silimer spray nozzle design. The conical shape of the silver-green nozzle forces limescale to accumulate at the tip of the nozzle only, if at all. The flexible, resilient silimer allows the nozzle to "bend" when lightly wiped with a cloth or sponge and thereby forces the limescale to gently crumble away.
