Vixen Hill Introduces Cedar Screen Doors for Architectural Harmony
Homeowners with a keen eye for traditional values will find a variety of new Vixen Hill screen door styles designed to fit door openings from 32 to 36 inches. The doors are one and a half inches thick and use teak-pegged mortise- and-tenon joinery further reinforced with glue. They are designed to receive screens or glass from the inside and a selection of architectural trims from the outside.
Complementing real screen doors and shutters, Vixen Hill also makes turn- of-the-century flower boxes with sloping front and sides, supported with brackets and buttresses. As with all Vixen Hill products, the flower boxes are made of the world's finest cedar, renowned for strength and outdoor durability. Sizes are available in one-inch increments. Standard colors include black, dark green, white and burgundy.
For environmentally conscious homeowners looking for a way to save on insecticides, Vixen Hill offers a line of bat houses. Since bats consume insects throughout the night, a bat house or two can provide housing for enough bats to clear the evening air of mosquitoes, gnats and moths. Available in natural cedar or black, these bat houses are pre-engineered and factory assembled using western red cedar and copper roofing. They are not only beautiful to look at, but also keep bats from nesting in eaves, barns and roofs.
Vixen Hill screen doors, flower boxes and bat houses have captured the critical acclaim of design professionals worldwide. Their reputation comes from providing sophisticated solutions for home enhancement using pre- engineered designs for simple one-day homeowner installation. Other products include modular gazebos, garden houses, pavilions, porch systems, shower cabanas and authentic shutter and hardware, all manufactured in their Southeastern Pennsylvania facility.
