Perfect for adding height, light, depth, or detail, interior trim products, like many of their exterior counterparts, are getting a materials makeover. Though many hardwood products are still available in a range of species, more trim pieces are being made from PVC and polyurethane. In addition to offering the detail and workability of wood accents, these pieces are lighter than wood, resist rotting, and are often available in longer lengths than wood can accommodate.

NMC. Based on the architectural ideal of essentialism, the Essenza interior trim collection helps define spaces by showcasing proportions, perspectives, and symmetries with the use of light. A wide range of options allows light to penetrate into corners, illuminate changes in elevation, or highlight the edge of a false ceiling. The microcellular foam material contains no formaldehyde or PVC. Each piece is primed for painting, is water-resistant, and creates a sophisticated, modern aesthetic. 866.349.4662. www.nmcdecousa.com.
