Leviton Announces Q1 Availability of Vizia RF Lighting System First Product of Its Kind to Offer Exclusive Two-Way Communication to Enhance Reliability and Versatility

Vizia RF is a scalable, wireless lighting control system for residential applications that uses Z-Wave technology to overcome the performance issues and high cost of earlier generations of wireless home control systems. Leviton's Vizia RF line uses advanced technology with performance features previously not available in any Z-Wave product. An exclusive two-way communication protocol actively indicates whether loads on the network are ON or OFF. This adds convenience and versatility, especially in situations where users are out of sight or range of the controlled loads. Vizia RF Plug-In Modules with "best in class" circuitry provide load sensing, the most requested feature in Z-Wave devices. When a lamp is plugged into a Vizia RF Lamp Module, users can operate it manually using a switch, pull chain or other lamp-mounted switch.
