    February 7, 2007 - Horsham, PA - Benjamin Obdyke Incorporated's Roll Vent® is a ridge vent that provides continuous air flow along the hottest part of attics - the ridge - to protect residential roofing from the deteriorating forces of excess heat and moisture build-up.     A member of Benjamin Obdyke's Ridge Ventilation family of products, Roll Vent is simple to install, quickly rolling onto the roof over a cut slot. Its see-through hinge permits easy alignment over the ridge, and its compression-resistant design results in a smooth, straight finish. With no end cap requirement, Roll Vent saves installation time, allowing workers to shingle over. With 2 1/2-in. nails included, it also saves on material costs.

    Roll Vent is available in two sizes - Roll Vent Standard and Roll Vent Metric. The Standard version comes in 20-ft. and 50-ft. length rolls, each 10 1/2 in. wide and .9 in. thick, with an 18 in2. of net free area per linear ft. The Metric style is 6,1 m (20-ft.) long by 29,21 cm (11 1/2 in.) wide and 2,29 cm (.9 in.) thick, with a net free area of 381 cm2/lin m (18 in2./lin. ft.). Both products come with Benjamin Obdyke's 50-Year Limited Warranty.
