Lennox Hearth Products Introduces the Shoreline Direct-Vent Gas Fireplace Insert
ORANGE, Calif. (March 8, 2007) - Lennox Hearth Products (LHP) is proud to introduce the newest addition to their line of gas fireplace inserts, the Shoreline™. Developed and manufactured by Country Stoves, the Shoreline is the first product released under the Lennox brand as a result of the integration of the two companies.

The Shoreline offers the choice of three full brick panel refractories and a selection of extruded surrounds.
A first of its kind in the LHP gas fireplace insert category, the Shoreline has an exceptionally large glass viewing area while still fitting into the space of an average 36" x 16" x 21" factory-built fireplace. To allow for the large viewing area, the fireplace controls have been moved to the side of the unit behind the surround panel, leaving room for the firebox to extend down to the hearth, much like a traditional fireplace.
"The industry is moving toward larger viewing areas and cleaner-looking fireplace designs," states Scott Andrunas, director of marketing for LHP. "This innovative approach provides that same clean look for consumers who want the zone heating efficiency of an insert while enjoying the ambiance of a big fire. The Shoreline provides exquisite views of the fire, as well as comfort and beauty, all in one complete package."
Boasting the appearance of a built-in masonry fireplace, the Shoreline offers the choice of three full brick panel refractories and a selection of extruded surrounds that fit a variety of installations. The unit can be configured to an output of either 33,000 or 40,000 BTUs to fit a wide range of heating needs without sacrificing space or efficiency. This option allows dealers to stock fewer units, while still offering consumers the ability to heat a variety of spaces.
The Shoreline Direct-Vent Gas Fireplace Insert will be available for purchase by February 2007.
