And, unlike some PEX products that are only recommended for use with as little as 15 to 30 days of UV light exposure, FlowGuard Flex pipe gives contractors the confidence of up to six months of UV protection.

Revolutionary FlowGuard Flex pipe is designed with an inner liner to enhance the already superior properties of the middle layer for chlorine resistance. The middle layer of the pipe provides long-term resistance to chlorine exposure, as well as enhanced UV resistance. This layer assures the customer that if the pipe is exposed to UV light, its physical properties, as well

as its long-term chlorine resistance, will be retained at the highest level in the industry. The exterior layer, also with superior chlorine resistance, provides the user with the proper color coding for easy use in plumbing applications.

Additionally, with its NSF P-171 CL-Recirculation certification, FlowGuard Flex piping is ideal for hot water recirculation systems where constantly moving water makes the chlorine more aggressive.

FlowGuard Flex piping exceeds ASTM F876/877 pipe standards and allows for the flexibility of nine different joining methods. As a high-performance product, it also resists corrosion and scale buildup, which can affect long-term system performance. In addition, it offers project versatility with pipe diameters in 1/2"-1 1/4" available and allows for many directional changes with minimal use of fittings.
