Gorell Windows and Doors Enters New Five-Year Agreement that Expands its Exclusive Partnership with the National Crime Prevention Council

INDIANA, PA, October 19, 2006--Gorell Windows & Doors has entered a new five-year agreement with the National Crime Prevention Council to expand upon the exclusive partnership the two organizations have had since 2003. The alliance serves as a catalyst for educating citizens about home crime prevention strategies, particularly around window and door security. One of the primary components of the new agreement is a program that will allow Gorell's network of dealers and distributors to further promote NCPC and the organization's crime prevention icon, McGruff the Crime Dog.

"We are extremely pleased to continue our partnership with the National Crime Prevention Council," said Wayne Gorell, Chairman and CEO. "We are dedicated to manufacturing tougher, stronger window and door products that help protect people--especially because the majority of home break-ins occur through windows and doors--and we are very pleased to partner with McGruff and the NCPC to increase awareness among the public and promote strategies that homeowners can to use protect themselves from intrusion."
