Hansgrohe BodyShower Creates a New Level of Ease for Enjoying the Benefits of a Showerpanel
ORLANDO, FLORIDA (FEBRUARY 7, 2007) - In recent years, showerpanels have attracted loyal customers by offering rich shower functionality in an all-in-one, pre-assembled and pre-plumbed package. Hansgrohe is very familiar with this loyalty and has experienced great success with its international brand of wellness, Pharo, and its Interaktiv showerpanels.

Easy to install and a great renovation product.
Now, for the first time ever, Hansgrohe is introducing its own showerpanel: the Hansgrohe BodyShower. The new BodyShower combines all of the elements that make showerpanels so desirable in an attractive, compact design, while taking ease-of-installation one step further.
The design of the Hansgrohe BodyShower is unlike any other in the market for several reasons. The first is the showerpanel's streamlined, thin profile that blends almost seamlessly into the environment. The showerpanel is also shorter, making it more compact, yet still able to provide a luxurious shower experience.
One of the most unique features, however, is how easily the showerpanel can be installed into any shower. With the BodyShower, there is no need to connect to existing water lines at the back of the panel or cover existing shower controls. The showerpanel actually connects where the showerarm comes out of the wall. Users simply unscrew their showerarm and then replace it with BodyShower's extension. Then all they have to do is add the showerpanel, which connects to the extension and uses the same water supply as the old showerarm.
"The Hansgrohe BodyShower is the easiest way for anyone to enjoy the functionality and aesthetics of a showerpanel," explains Russ Wheeler, president of Hansgrohe-North America. "Essentially, installing this showerpanel is as easy as installing a new showerhead."
Easy to install and a great renovation product, BodyShower also boasts the features that have made showerpanels such a popular way to create a spa-like environment:
• Integrated Wallbar: To accommodate users of all sizes and help pinpoint achy muscles, the showerpanel includes an integrated wallbar. The wallbar allows the user to move the handshower and its holder up or down. The holder also pivots left and right, maximizing the beneficial effects and sensations of the shower experience.
• Bodysprays: While the user's existing valve controls water temperature and volume, the showerpanel's on/off valve controls the four angle-adjustable bodysprays. No extra connections are needed, since the bodysprays function by using the water already being delivered to the handshower, which is always on when the shower is on.
• Raindance E150 AIR 3-Jet Handshower: Drawing the surrounding air into the water flow, the Raindance AIR handshower brings the sensual experience of a warm summer rain to the shower. The four-inch handshower face of the Raindance E150 boasts more than 60 spray channels, and the air-infused water creates invigorating, voluminous droplets in all three spray settings:
1. Rain AIR: a simple rain spray;
2. Whirl AIR: an accelerated water-and-air combination through three rotating whirl jets for a relaxing massage effect; and
3. Balance AIR: an invigorating combination of Rain and Whirl AIR.
"We think people will love the fact that this product is very easy to install," states Lars Christensen, Hansgrohe-North America's product manager. "Every element, including the affordable price, makes the Hansgrohe BodyShower an attractive shower option."
