WARROAD, Minn. - February 7, 2007 - Marvin Windows and Doors answers consumer demand for high-performing, large radius shapes with the new Ultimate Double Hung Magnum Round Top. Together with the Ultimate Double Hung Magnum, this family of products provides a better solution for building professionals needing easy-to-operate, high-performing and historically-compliant double-hung and round top windows in large sizes.

The Ultimate Double Hung Magnum Round Top will be available this spring in a variety of large sizes and several shapes in double hung and single hung variations, including elliptical, eyebrow and true radius shapes.

Ultimate Double Hung Magnum products have superior performance against air, water and structural infiltration. The window meets a commercial design pressure rating of H-C50 for window openings 26 3/8" x 49 1/2" up to 54 3/8" x 105 1/2", as certified by the Window & Door Manufactures Association (WDMA). Some larger sizes are available at a commercial design pressure rating of H-C35.

The Ultimate Double Hung Magnum Round Top achieves its traditional look through several design features including an interior stop system, which results in minimally exposed vinyl, weather-stripping and interior fasteners. Beautifully-designed shadow lines on the wood or clad exterior provide further aesthetic appeal in creating a traditional, robust wood window appearance. In addition, the sightlines and profiles are complementary to Marvin's line of Ultimate Double Hung windows.
