ODL Severe Weather Doorglass Blinds Meet Wind-Borne Requirements
February 7, 2007 - Zeeland, Mich. - New from ODL, Inc., Zeeland, Mich., Severe Weather® Doorglass Blinds for entrance systems provide protection from wind-borne debris and offer an easy-to-use, no-maintenance solution for controlling light and privacy, according to Scott Spence, product manager.

Severe Weather Doorglass Blind
"Severe Weather Doorglass Blinds are designed to meet Florida and Texas wind-borne requirements in areas where wind speeds can exceed 120 mph. The blinds also meet High Velocity Hurricane Zone and Department of Defense minimum anti-terrorist blast standards," says Spence.
ODL Severe Weather Doorglass Blinds are an excellent alternative to exposed door blinds. The ergonomically designed, patented Light-Touch® control allows homeowners to raise, lower and tilt the blinds. The blinds are sealed between glass, there are no cords to tangle or noise from swinging blinds and the slats never need dusting. No dust also helps minimize allergy exposure and improve indoor air quality.
As with all ODL doorglass products, Severe Weather Doorglass Blinds use proven moisture-resistant technology that has been subjected to extensive operation and weather-cycle testing. Severe Weather Doorglass Blinds are offered in standard doorglass dimensions of 22 inches wide by 64 inches long; 14 inches wide by 64 inches long; 20 inches wide by 64 inches long; and seven inches wide by 64 inches long for sidelight applications. For 8-foot door applications, three sizes are offered: 22 inches wide by 80 inches long; 20 inches wide by 80 inches long; and 14 inches wide by 80 inches long. The blinds come standard with a 20-year warranty.
