VitrA Showcases a Variation to its V3 Technology: The ADA Two-Piece Toilet

    ATLANTA (February 2007) -- At this year's International Builders' Show, VitrA redefines the revolutionary ADA Corina V3 Technology system meeting the American Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, now available in standard height round and elongated two pieces. The two-piece high performance toilet is a variation to the V3 Technology and features a top seat 17 inches from a finished floor - the recommended seat height in accordance with ADA standards.

    With the rise of universal design, VitrA created a toilet to meet the criteria set forth by the ADA but also enhanced the system by installing its V3 Technology. VitrA's V3 is the perfect performance trio utilizing superb flushing technology, standing for Vortex, Velocity and Vacuum. The V3 is a gravity toilet that has a performance comparable to Pressure Assist systems, which deliver discharge capabilities in a quiet environment.

    • Vortex - The V3's 3-inch flush valve increases the vortex of the flush and maximizes the flow rate of water to bowl.
    • Velocity -With the 3-inch flush valve, the velocity of the toilet is increased as well. The larger flush valve allows water to enter the bowl's 2 1/8" trap way more quickly and increases the peak discharge flow rate. The Corina toilet performs solid discharge in a maximum of three seconds!
    • Vacuum - The toilet's vacuum created by the siphon jet action produces an efficient flush performance.
