GE Monogram Custom Hood Inserts - Powerful Venting, Beautiful Possibilities

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky -- Trimmed with tile, wood panels or other decorative finishes, a custom hood creates a focal point that infuses a kitchen with personality and style. A GE Monogram hood insert provides the heart and brains of a custom hood. A patented installation process makes the insert ideally suited to a wide variety of custom hood applications (48-inch, 36-inch and 30-inch configurations available). Unlike many other models, it attaches directly to the house ducting from within the unit, eliminating the need to adjust, remove or replace the custom canopy.

Monogram Custom Hood Inserts

Single- and dual- blower ventilation, with variable speed fan, exhausts air at a rate of 640 and 1200 cubic feet per minute, making the inserts compatible with high-performance cooking appliances.

Monogram custom hood inserts offer a control panel with remote-mount option for flexibility. The onboard control panel can be removed from the hood insert at the time of installation and mounted to a wall, countertop or some other location. Touch controls with blue backlighting allow easy operation.

A stainless steel protective liner is included with each custom hood insert, and gives the hood insert an elegant finish while preventing heat and moisture buildup inside the canopy. Halogen lighting provides four levels of clean, brilliant illumination to suit any cooking task. Stainless steel mesh filters fit securely and lift out easily for safe cleaning in the dishwasher.
