    TEMPLE, Texas (Summer 2007) - The natural beauty of precious gemstones and the multi-colored charm of jeweled granite offer consumers a glimpse of the exotic in two new Wilsonart® Laminate Series for the Wilsonart® Home Collection: Gemstone and Jeweled. Inspired by the vibrant colors and textures of precious materials, the two collections feature gem hues such as: sapphire, azure, ruby, garnet, jade, coral and ivory from Asia, South America and Africa with large-cut gem inserts and embedded multi-color cameos. The two collections debut summer 2007.

    Raven Gemstone

    The Gemstone series joins the Wilsonart® HD™ High Definition™ Laminate product line with three colorways featuring large-cut precious blue-hued gems inset into rich clay and dark brown aggregates.

    The Gemstone designs include:
    * Mystic Gemstone - A mystical blend of colors in clay, embedded with larger gems of brown and aggregate pieces of smoky-blue
    * River Gemstone - A riverbed treasury consisting of red-brown, embedded with larger gems of deep brown and smaller pieces of blue-grey
    * Raven Gemstone - Features gemstones in dark shades of brown, lifted black and midnight blue

    Gemstone is one of three new 2007 Wilsonart HD series being launched this year, bringing the total number of Wilsonart HD designs to 32. All Wilsonart HD designs are three times more wear-resistant than the industry standard for high pressure laminate.
    Jeweled Premium Laminate designs offer a granite concept that resembles precious stones with multi-colored cameos embedded throughout in each design. This complex mix of colors is made possible through 21st century print technology pioneered by Wilsonart and MeadWestvaco. The enhanced, premium finish on the Jeweled Series imparts a highly polished stone look and feel to the material while maintaining a durable and wear resistant surface that is the hallmark of today's laminate.

    The Jeweled Series includes five colorways:
    * Jeweled Sapphire - A dark green jade embellished with rubies and blue sapphires
    * Jeweled Opal - A soft jade embellished with garnet and turquoise in opalescent colors
    * Jeweled Mica - Soft shades of cocoa with dark brown, coral and cameos of light blue mica
    * Jeweled Ivory - Ivory clay with coral and light blue mica
    * Jeweled Coral - Clay embellished with mica and dark coral insets
