This year's award winners were announced by the Museum of Architecture and Design in Chicago and presented to the finest designers and manufacturers in the world.

    VitrA celebrates the international recognition showcasing the most advanced design and innovation for bathroom products. The Istanbul Collection is made up of over 100 bathroom products created by Ross Lovegrove, an industrial designer considered to be among the top five in the world.

    The modern conception and style of the Istanbul Collection emulates the distinct criteria of the Good Design award to those advancing product concepts with cutting edge and innovative designs.

    While creating the Istanbul Collection, Lovegrove immersed himself in Turkish ceramic culture, drawing inspiration from ethnicity, architecture and customs. He designed the bathroom from a Turkish perspective, providing fully coordinated interiors with maximum flexibility for the consumer.

    The Istanbul Collection offers more than 100 products, including ceramic plumbing fixtures, ceramic wall and floor tiles, bathtubs, bathroom furniture, faucets and accessories.
