KOHLER, Wis. - May 8, 2007 - Trying to select cabinetry that is stylish, strong and affordable can be a challenging process for a homeowner. Canac - a leading manufacturer of fine semi-custom, full-access cabinetry since 1967 - makes this process a whole lot easier by introducing four thermofoil technique cabinet door styles and three new finish colors to its versatile collection at the 2007 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show. Ranging from traditional to ultra-modern in myriad colors, these new cabinetry choices canvass a wide array of discerning homeowner tastes.
Thermofoil Polo Club
For those who enjoy a clean, classic look throughout the home, Concord Hill™ thermofoil doors feature sharply sculpted corners and Romanesque arches. For a more embellished form, Acadia™ thermofoil doors reveal sophistication through the soft curvature of the edges, cathedral arches on the frame, and another arch on the elevated center panel. Inspired by the historic French colonials in what is now New England, Acadia thermofoil doors also include relieved joints that match both transitional and traditional styles.
In addition to arch-style options, both Concord Hill and Acadia thermofoil cabinets feature square-frame door options as part of their offerings.
Soho™ thermofoil cabinetry doors feature contoured vertical column edges that frame the smooth face of the cabinet for a sleek, retro-modern look. Polo Club™ thermofoil doors are designed with a monoplane panel aesthetic and slightly beveled edges.
Both cabinetry styles are versatile in application throughout the home and across a wide array of décors. Soho cabinets easily unify retro-modern or transitional home environments, while Polo Club cabinets complements Bauhaus contemporary or minimalist-inspired interiors.

New Thermofoil Colors
Three new and fashionable satin-finish colors are also available on the four new door styles, as well as Canac's entire thermofoil cabinetry offering. Replicating the deep brown color of walnut, Chocolate Pear™ is a popular choice for a slab-style contemporary cabinetry door yet also adds depth to conventional cabinets. Nutmeg offers a slightly more neutral and lighter shade of brown, while Hazelnut adds a cinnamon hue to the Canac finish offering.

Thermofoil doors are characterized by a strong, impervious surface that is formed when a thin - 8 to 16 mil - layer of PVC film is heated and pressed over medium-density fiberboard.
