Enkeboll Expands New Collections, Adding Bredth and Depth

April 30, 2007- Enkeboll recently introduced four new collections, Monarch Bay, Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, and Vineyard and have now expanded upon all of them. There are more corbels, moldings, mantel components, and stair parts. The collections can also be mixed and matched. Separately or together, these collections provide a wide range of design solutions in the kitchen and throughout the home. ";Enkeboll is unique in the vertical integration of its lines," says Ellen Cheever, ASID. ";Instead of offering only a few pieces in each pattern, they are offering a range of sizes, types and applications correctly proportioned for use in each room."

The Beauty and Elegance of Wood

    Monarch Bay collection
Casual yet classic, the Caribbean elegance of Monarch Bay evokes the sense of living in an island paradise. It is inspired by the blend of tropical motifs and Victorian ornamentation that graced the plantations of Hawaii and the colonial villas of the West Indies during the late 19th Century. With its stylized tropical fruit, and palms, this nature-inspired collection is in tune with the informal lifestyle of today's American family. Hospitable and open, it is a fresh take on traditionalism.

    Arts & Crafts
The Arts & Crafts movement began in the late 19th Century in a celebration of craftsmanship as represented in the works of Frank Lloyd Wright and Gustave Stickley. Enkeboll's interpretation continues in this tradition. Enkeboll's Arts & Crafts collection has smooth bold lines and fluid curves, simple and streamlined yet elegant. A kitchen can be designed to be pure Arts & Crafts, a statement of integrity and warmth. Or, a specific area such as a counter can be accented with a column from a compatible collection like Monarch Bay.

    Art Nouveau Collection
Also an art movement of the 19th Century, Art Nouveau is characterized by fluid embellishments which revere nature. This movement, expressed in Tiffany lamps, Gaillard furniture, Lalique glass, and the beloved Paris Metro signs, has been reinterpreted exclusively for Enkeboll for contemporary appeal by world-renown wood sculptor, Melsik Yaghiazaryan. The Enkeboll Art Nouveau collection includes moldings, corbels, feet and onlays based on natural forms such as flowers, plants, and soft curves. It is compatible with the companies other nature-based collections.

    Vineyard Collection
The Vineyard Collection is a new grape motif inspired by the Art Nouveau movement from the late 19th century. These breakthrough designs artistically emulate the movement of grapes and vines like never before. Meandering vines, asymmetrical grapes, and flowing leaves characterize this distinctive collection of corbels, moldings and onlays from our more traditional grape themed architectural elements.

Enkeboll Designs recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary. The company carries on the legacy of founder Raymond Enkeboll with a product line of over 600 items that celebrate the beauty of wood and the elegance inspired by what Raymond Enkeboll called the ";appreciation of what has come before", from the Renaissance to the Art Nouveau movement. Enkeboll carved architectural wood elements include collections of coordinated pieces such as corbels, moldings, arches, panels, mantles and onlays, marketed exclusively through manufacturers, builders, and designers.
