Hartford, Wis., May 8, 2007 - Decorative Fan/Lights from Broan® and NuTone® can add dramatic detail and elegance to bathrooms, powder rooms or any room while incorporating an inconspicuous ventilation fan at the same time, according to Lynn Mantha, product manager.

"All of our Decorative Fan/Lights combine attractive styling with very effective performance to deliver form and function," says Mantha. These new models take advantage of the latest trends in lighting without compromising powerful ventilation.

Two power and sound levels are offered, both appropriate for a wide range of bathroom sizes. Four Broan models offer 70 CFM with a sound level of 3.5 Sones while three models feature a more powerful yet quieter 80 CFM at 2.5 Sones. Five NuTone models offer 70 CFM at 3.5 Sones and three models offer 70 CFM at 2.0 Sones. Additionally, NuTone offers one model with 80 CFM at 2.5 Sones. Both the Broan and NuTone fans exhaust air through inconspicuous vent openings in the light fixture's base.

The Decorative Fan/Lights are available in six corrosion-resistant finishes, including oil-rubbed bronze, polished brass, pewter, satin nickel, white and nutmeg hand-painted cast. Style choices cover a range of tastes from traditional to contemporary, giving homeowners several style options.

Rugged, galvanized steel houses a plug-in, permanently lubricated motor and polymeric blower wheel. The plug-in light fixture assembly uses two standard incandescent 60-watt candelabra light bulbs. A tapered, polymeric 4-inch round duct fitting makes for easy, positive duct connection and provides for no metallic clatter. The plug-in light fixture assembly allows for quick and accurate installation.
