TAMKO Reintroduces Elements Composite Decking

    JOPLIN, Mo. April 4, 2007 -- TAMKO Building Products, Inc. is reintroducing its Elements line of composite decking. Elements now features a sculpted bottom surface, which will increase the product's performance while making the cost more competitive. "The boards are reformulated so they're stronger and more durable," said Richard O'Hare, vice president of manufacturing for Epoch.

    The new Elements board, which will be manufactured in Lamar, Mo., and Chilhowie, Va., will have a grain surface pattern and a redesigned undersurface. It will be available in three colors, Cape Cod Grey, Redwood and Weathered Wood, as well as in 16- and 20-foot lengths. "We believe the redesigned product will make the price more attractive to consumers," said Stephen McNally, vice president of sales and marketing. "The redesigned product enables us to have an entry-level product in the composite decking market that is price competitive."
