Let Ther Be Light

    For anyone who has hauled laundry down to a dingy dungeon in the basement, this light's for you. Sunlight, that is. More laundry rooms are opening up to outside walls because homeowners are realizing that the view and brightness are as important in the laundry as in any other room. The light feeling is emphasized by painting the ample cabinetry a light color to reflect the sunlight. Also, the front-load appliances offer more countertop space for folding clothes. The large utility sink gives plenty of space for soaking clothes, or washing the dog.
