Grohe Delivers New Rustic Shower Products for North American Market

    BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. - Aug. 15, 2007 - With GROHE's successful launch of traditionally styled bathroom faucets and coordinating accent pieces earlier this year, new shower lines were a natural extension. The company - long associated with sleek, European design - is paying special attention to the demands of North America's discriminating consumers with a taste for classic design and modern technologies.

    This fusion of German technology and an American aesthetic bears two new lines uniquely sold in North America: Rainshower Rustic and Relexa Rustic. "Both Rainshower and Relexa are existing lines in our portfolio," explained Flowers. "The Rustic extension of each features slightly more ornamentation in a more beveled casing."

    Rainshower Rustic
    Measuring 6 1/4" in diameter, the Rainshower Rustic features four spray patterns and is available as a shower head or a hand shower. Both models are available in chrome, sterling InfinityFinishTM, brushed nickel InfinityFinishTM and oil rubbed bronze.

    Relexa Rustic
    With five spray patterns - normal, jet, massage, champagne and rainshower - the Relexa Rustic collection brings all the comforts of 21st century shower products to the traditionally minded consumer. Available as a moveable shower head or a hand shower, this collection is smaller in scale than the Rainshower Rustic but features all of the same GROHE technologies.

    All of the showers showcase GROHE's newest light blue-hued shower face, protected by the brand's patented SpeedClean® anti-lime system, which allows a simple wipe over the face of the shower to restore its "like-new" performance. All GROHE shower products feature GROHE's DreamSpray® technology, providing optimal water distribution for an unparalleled showering experience. Additionally, the brand's Cool-touch® technology creates a thermal barrier between hot water and the product's shell, preventing the finish from cracking and ensuring the handle is never too hot to touch.
