Integrity's award-winning multi-media campaign featured "Stu" and "Carl," two fictional product testers who put Integrity to the test by pitting it against vinyl in a wide variety of competitions. From the silly to the serious, Stu and Carl were created to show builders that Integrity, made with Ultrex, is a better option than vinyl.
Despite the fact that Integrity, made with Ultrex, is superior to vinyl in nearly every way, builders were unaware of how using Integrity could satisfy their customers by providing them with a beautiful, virtually maintenance-free window backed by first-class service and support. Using Stu and Carl allowed Integrity to show Ultrex's capabilities in an amusing and down-to-earth way.
Educating builders choosing a better window material centered on Integrity's core values of partnering with builders and constantly helping the building industry move forward in innovation.
Integrity, made from a pultruded fiberglass called Ultrex, is eight times stronger than the most commonly used non-wood window material, vinyl. Unlike vinyl, it resists bending, fading warping and chalking. Ultrex expands and contracts at the same rate as glass, preventing stress cracks and seal failures. It can also be painted and is available in a dark bronze finish, capabilities that the majority of vinyl window brands do not have.
Builders who choose Integrity as their window brand of choice get more than just a tough, durable window, however. They get a window that will actually help them improve their business by virtually eliminating callbacks and building their customers' loyalty by using a high-quality window they will never need to worry about. Integrity's support team is available to answer builders' questions and educate them about Ultrex's material strengths and benefits.
The introduction of Stu and Carl's multi-media campaign provided a new way to reach out to builders and learn about choosing a better window material than vinyl. The success of the campaign ensures that builders all over the country will be thinking about a strong, attractive window: Integrity from Marvin Windows and Doors.
Brett Boyum, Integrity Director of Marketing, says, "Integrity, made with Ultrex, is a first class product and the finest non-wood window you can buy. We are honored to receive this Vanguard award, as it represents the success of our efforts to educate builders about Ultrex, the better alternative to vinyl."
Integrity Windows and Doors, winner of the 2007 Best In Class Award (BICA) from Market Resource Associates, Inc.
