It consists of an energy efficient window unit and a pour-in-place buck that is fully assembled and ready for installation. The window unit features an insulating glass design that is equipped with Fin-seal® weather-stripping and low-E glass for reduced energy expenses. Its corrosion-resistant vinyl will not rot, rust, or retain moisture, ensuring that homeowners will enjoy virtually maintenance-free performance. Other standard window features include a heavy-duty locking mechanism for optimal security and an insect screen with aluminum frame and fiberglass mesh.

Family of Windows Provides Options for Foundation Contractors

The Series 660 window buck features a strong and durable design that is contractor friendly for fast and hassle-free installation. Constructed from a multi-wall vinyl extrusion, the buck is designed to withstand higher-than-normal pressures and includes removable reinforcing to withstand the demanding loads generated by the pouring process. In addition to providing support, the reinforcing protects the window glass during the pouring process and provides a full-face nailer to simplify installation in concrete forms. As an added benefit, the buck is supplied with built-in nylon straps for easy job-site handling. These straps can also be utilized to position the buck when a top of wall window location is required.
