CertainTeed introduces PAMREX 36" Oversized Manhole Cover for US Municipalities

August 30, 2007 -- (Northboro, Massachusetts) -- CertainTeed, the premier provider of technically advanced municipal castings in the United States, introduces its new PAMREX 36" manhole cover, designed to fit oversize manholes in U.S. municipalities. The PAMREX 36" has all the same excellent features as the original PAMREX, such as infiltration resistance and exceptional ergonomics for operator safety, but also answers the needs of municipalities that have built larger sized manhole openings in response to safety concerns. Made from ductile iron, an engineered material that is half the weight of traditional cast, or grey, iron, these covers also offer significant performance advantages, such as long-term durability, resistance to inflow and infiltration, and security from unauthorized access.
