    ORANGE, Calif. (September 10, 2007) - Lennox Hearth Products (LHP) introduces the MPLDV, a direct-vent gas fireplace with clean-face louverless design. Part of the Merit™ Plus Series of fireplaces, this latest addition makes louverless options available to a broader market, specifically custom and standard builders.

    These new fireplaces have the look and feel of traditional masonry fireplaces and provide both custom and standard builders with affordable louverless choices without compromising installation options or aesthetics.

    Unique to this new fireplace line is a 30" size, which allows for increased installation and spacing flexibility. The line also comes in the standard 35", 40" and 45" sizes. These highly efficient, heater-rated units produce dramatic fire and glow at very low BTUs, saving energy costs without sacrificing flame quality.
