NuTone Recessed Security Cabinets Keep Valuables Safe and Secure

Hartford, Wis., November 9, 2007 - To keep valuables organized and secure, NuTone® has introduced a new line of recessed security cabinets for the home. "Today's homeowners are challenged to stay organized in our fast-paced society. According to the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division, there were an estimated 1,445,639 residential burglary offenses in 2006.1 With theft-deterring locks, NuTone recessed security cabinets provide homeowners with an extra sense of security when storing important and personal belongings such as legal documents, extra keys, medication and jewelry. Easy installation allows the cabinets to be located anywhere in the home. In addition, the cabinet door can easily be covered with paint or wallpaper for enhanced concealment.

Recessed Security Cabinets

NuTone recessed security cabinets are offered in two models: Standard and Deluxe. Both models feature a tamper resistant, 14-gauge painted steel door, a rust resistant painted steel body, a concealed hinge, adjustable tip-resistant shelves, a reversible left- or right-hand door opening and a keyed security lock. Unique to the Deluxe security cabinet are a key/jewelry rack, a padded jewelry tray compartment and a document holder.

The Standard and Deluxe cabinets are available in an overall size of 15 3/4 inches wide by 26 inches high and feature dimensions of 14 inches wide by 24 inches high by 3 1/2 inches deep for the wall opening. A small Deluxe cabinet also is available in an overall size of 15 3/4 inches wide by 20 inches high and features dimensions of 14 inches wide by 18 inches high by 3 1/2 inches deep for the wall opening.
