Hilti WSC 7.25-A 36V and WSC 6.5-A 24V Cordless Circular Saws
TULSA, Okla. - November 27, 2007 - With superior cutting performance and reliability, the new Hilti WSC 7.25-A 36-volt 7 1/2-inch and WSC 6.5-A 24-volt 6 1/2-inch cordless circular saws provide the maximum working power needed to get the job done.
As an alternative where power is not available, the cordless circular saws are designed to handle a variety of applications, including ripping sheets of wood and composite materials, cutting forming boards, trimming and cut-outs, as well as bevel and miter cuts.

WSC 7.25-A 36V Circular Saw
The WSC 7.25-A is equipped with a 36-volt, 3.3 amp hour Hilti Cordless Power Care (CPC) lithium-ion battery, making it the highest capacity cordless circular saw on the market. With the ability to complete numerous applications per charge, the well-balanced WSC 7.25-A provides lasting comfort resulting in greater productivity on the job site. The WSC 7.25-A also has the greatest cutting depth on the market with a 2 5/8-inch cutting depth at 90 degrees.
An addition to the Hilti 24-volt platform, the WSC 6.5-A offers best in class performance with a 2 1/4-inch cutting depth at 90 degrees. The WSC 6.5-A is equipped with a sturdy twin-arm rip fence, which helps the saw stay true to the line when ripping sheets of metal. The WSC 6.5-A is also equipped with a magnesium base plate, which helps maintain accurate cuts throughout the tool's life.
For top quality performance when using the WSC 7.25-A and WSC 6.5-A, the new W-CSC Teflon-coated circular saw blades help reduce friction when cutting to maximize cutting capacity. The ultra thin blade is a great solution for cutting treated lumber and composite material as it reduces saw advance and increases cutting speed.
Covered under Hilti Lifetime Service, the WSC 7.25-A will be serviced quickly and reliably, if needed, with no additional cost for two years. The WSC 6.5-A is also covered under Hilti Lifetime Service with no additional cost for one year. During the lifetime repair cost limit, which begins after the no cost period, the tool will have a maximum repair cost of no greater than 30 percent of the tool's then-current list price. Once the tool is repaired, it receives an additional six months of no cost service. The lifetime manufacturer's warranty covers the tool against manufacturer defects for the life of the tool.*
